Take your Meowth to the next level by giving it the incredible gift of variable height. This papercraft uses sliding body segments to give an extending action to an otherwise simple shape. It’s important to use thick paper (I used 160gsm) and to pull the body segments as tight as possible around each other so that your Meowth retains its height even when standing. I’ve also put weight in the feet to give it extra stability.

Deku is the main character in the anime My Hero Academia. He’s the successor to All Might and the inheritor of the one for all quirk. He’s a hard working and determined boy who wants to become the greatest hero.
This papercraft has a couple of fiddly parts in the arms and hands, but there are few parts overall. Deku’s unruly hair was difficult to capture in paper and the end result isn’t perfect. Capturing the many multi-directional curls might take a much larger, more complex model… But here’s an attempt at a small, simple one.

The eighth generation of Pokémon is fast approaching and that means a brand new set of critters to catch and train into the ultimate fighting machine. One such creature that’s sure to be a poké-battling powerhouse is Wooloo, a rotund wooly sheep pokémon. This wooloo may not be made of wool, but paper is better anyway - right?
This papercraft uses layers of scalloped paper to emulate the curly, fluffy coat of a wooloo. Some of the details on the head can be fiddly in comparison, but none of them need to be completely sealed off so you’ll always have easy access to the back side of the parts for adjustments.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening first released on the original Nintendo Gameboy in 1996. The game was Link’s first outing on Gameboy and takes place when Link washes ashore on a mysterious island after a shipwreck. In 1998 Link’s Awakening was re-released in full colour on the Gameboy Colour with an extra colour themed dungeon. If you play The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess it seems like Zant, a power obsessed usurper, is the main villain. But anyone who knows Zelda might have a suspicion that darker forces are at work… Later in the game Zant sheds his creepy helmet and reveals his creepier face, as well as his more eccentric and lively personality.
If you can cast your mind back to the simpler year of 2015, it’s possible (although very unlikely) that you might remember this little papercraft. That craft featured Zant with all (or most) of his intricacies and tiny details. It was also a little tricky - I rated it hard, the highest of five difficulty ratings. This new craft takes Zant and reduces him to nearly a third of the pieces but keeps features like the removable helmet. Simplified and streamlined, Zant is now easier and quicker to recreate in paper form.

We all know Ganon - he’s the big bad in one of Nintendo’s biggest franchises. It all began in 1986 when Ganon unleashed his pixel-y goodness (or badness) on the world in The Legend of Zelda for NES. This papercraft is based on that incarnation and takes his 2D sprites into a third dimension.
After the mega project that was ridiculous Ganon there was only one way to go with Ganon papercrafts: more ridiculous. At 58 sheets of paper and nearly 300 pieces this Ganon is a huge time commitment. Check out the building video, where about 100 hours of footage was condensed at 3000% to a video that is still easily the length of a feature film. One thing’s for certain: this papercraft project is not for the faint of heart.

This is a nice and simple papercraft that's suitable for beginners. Wizzrobes made a small appearance in the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, in the Temple of The Ocean King. They appeared in the later floors and had the ability to turn invisible and pass through walls. Getting hit by one would take away some of the time in your hourglass, but killing them rewards extra time. Their design kept the bird motif from Wind Waker, but added a scythe, marking the first time a wizzrobe used a physical weapon.
Included are the original 128x64 textures, as well as an updated, higher resolution version.

Splatoon is a Nintendo 4 v 4 online third-person shooter where the players have the ability to transform between a human form and a squid form. The aim is to cover the map in the colour ink of your team. You can only shoot in human form, but move much faster as a squid.
This papercraft is of the player's squid form. It can get a bit fiddly and frustrating attaching all the tentacles & spikes to each other, so take it slowly and one flap at a time. It may also help to score more folds than you might normally do if you're used to building smooth. The rest is a simple strip construction, so I've left the difficulty as medium rather than medium/hard, but remember you'll need some experience to build!
